PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT:

I know some people after reading this will still rub anointing oil on their forehead and move around as if they own Lagos.

Do you remember the story of the prudent man and the simple man in the Bible? The prudent heard there's trouble, he withdrew from the street. But the simple man heard there's trouble on the street. He entered the street and was killed. Read the book of proverbs.

I am giving you this advise for free because I have spent most of my life around Ojo. I know how the mad people behave. They will hurt whoever stray into their net.

This is not the time to move aimlessly around Ojo local government and Iba local council development area.

You will get killed or injured and nothing will happen.

If you are stuck in Badagry and you live at iba, find somewhere around Badagry to sleep tonight. Don't risk coming late today.

If you work on the Island, and you suspect you could get home late due to the traffic around mile 2 and Volks, please don't bother come home. Sleep in your office on the island and move in the morning.

They have been robbing people at Iyana Iba like hell in the last few days.

They are moving freely, hurting people.

Few days ago, a trader going to Badagry was robbed of her #1m on the road. Nothing happened.

Stay where you are.

Iba, Ojo is not safe at the moment.

Don't say you were not told.

Don't bother coming into these towns late tonight.

RIP COOLIO

Grammy-Winning ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ Rapper, Coolio, dies at 59

The rapper’s longtime manager Jarel Posey confirmed his death saying that Coolio died around 5 p.m. PT on Wednesday afternoon, September 28.

According to TMZ, Coolio, whose real name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr. was found dead at a friend’s house.

Coolio's longtime manager, Jarez, said Coolio went to the bathroom at his friend's house, but when he didn't come out after a while the friend kept calling for him, and eventually went in and found Coolio laying on the floor.

Law enforcement sources told the publication that paramedics were called to the house in Los Angeles around 4 PM for a medical emergency and when they got there they pronounced Coolio dead.

Jarez also said the paramedics suspect he suffered cardiac arrest. An official cause of death has not been determined.

“We are saddened by the loss of our dear friend and client, Coolio, who passed away this afternoon. He touched the world with the gift of his talent and will be missed profoundly,” Sheila Finegan, his manager at Trinity Artists International, said in a statement to Variety. “Thank you to everyone worldwide who has listened to his music and to everyone who has been reaching out regarding his passing. Please have Coolio’s loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.”

Coolio rose to prominence in the Los Angeles rap scene in the ’90s, scoring his big break when he recorded the song “Gangsta’s Paradise” for the 1995 film “Dangerous Minds,” starring Michelle Pfeiffer. It quickly became one of the most popular rap songs of all time, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks and ending 1995 as the No. 1 single of that year in the United States. In 1996, “Gangsta’s Paradise” was nominated for record of the year and best rap solo performance at the Grammy Awards, with Coolio winning the latter.

Lagos is Wrapped in Darkness by Omoruyi Uwuigiaren

You can't help but wonder what Lagos in particular will look like if Tinubu becomes president. These miscreants will unleash mayhem on anyone at the slightest provocation.

As at today, there's practically total breakdown of law and order in Lagos State.

Don't tell me state is the safest blah, blah, blah.

What is keeping Lagos together is  not the police or any recognised security agency. It is will to survive by sincere Lagosians that is keeping the city together. Aside this, the system in Lagos is broken.

Watch how the police turned away from the NURTW factions that were fighting. It shows they are powerless, weak and lost.

This attitude of the police is the reason why Nigeria is almost a failed state. They can't genuinely fight crime.

If you cannot fight crime, you have no business being a police officer.

These same people who say they are police officers are quick to attack peaceful protesters.

When they see real trouble, they turn the other way.

This country is done with APC. Get your PVC Lagosians and do the needful.
