Work in Progress. From the book entitled, “Gone with the Last Bus” by Sunny Jack Obande. ENJOY!!!

At the foot of the huge boulder, the deposit of fine shingles had become a makeshift bed for Mama Sherifatu and the supposed spiritualist, their clothing, heaped together on the sandy earth, now a temporary mattress. She laid on her back, her legs wide apart with the knees drawn up to accommodate the weight of her partner in crime who was busy thrusting in and out in quick successions, the muscles of his exposed buttocks squeezing so tight with every effort. At first, they were so into their sins they didn’t even notice we were at the scene. “Spirit enter into me,” she cried in-between thrusts, “Spirit enter into me and be my protector.”          “Abomination!” Akeke breathed as we stepped into the open and towered over them. I was almost certain he would kick the busy man violently from behind as we closed in on them. “Which spirit is entering into you, Mama Sherifatu?” he spat in resentment, “Spirit of this crook or spirit of Lucifer...

Sex is a Weapon by Omoruyi Uwuigiaren

What usefulness is marriage when your partner tells you she does not enjoy sex? And seven months down the line, the monster between your legs remains inactive. But in the next world, you are king. Constantly in dream land where you only have good sex. You could hear her moan in pleasure as she wraps herself under your cover. She was expressive and her long sound reached the gates of heaven. Reaching for the sky and exploding as you cum on her face. You wish the journey never ends. The earth is old and must pass away, but your fantasy must remain. The strokes are beautiful. They were like trees that bowed gently to the sweet movement of the morning breeze. But it was only a dream. Not at the altar with the woman you vowed to spend the rest of your life. At the slightest provocation, you cursed the day you made that vow. What will you do? At Igboelerin, Lagos, a woman went seven months without having sex with her husband. Beaten and broken by excuses, the man who was deprived co...

"Rivalry" from the upcoming children's book entitled "SAFARI" by Robert Osagie

Long time ago in the jungle, the lion was the king of the entire animal population. It was rumoured that the lion’s breath could kill a dove. Yet, he was a good ruler and the whole animal loved him. The animals were happy and had everything they could ever hope for. They had food and shelter. No animal was permitted to kill another. There was peace. It was forbidden to kill another animal and the penalty was death. Misunderstandings were resolved amicably without the shedding of blood. While the animals lived peacefully, the Sky and the Earth were good friends. One evening, the Sky visited the Earth. He brought gifts and ice cream. There was a faint knock on the door. “Who is that?” asked the Earth. He rose from the bed and sat up. He was about to put the day behind him. “Who do you think?” said a tiny voice, laughing. He pushed the door opened and walked into the house. His presence lit up the house and it almost blinded the Earth. “Good evening, my friend,” Sky greeted. Th...

Work in Progress. From the children’s book, “Trouble in Thames Street” by Omoruyi Uwuigiaren.

Chapter One Tunde lived on Thames Street with his parents who were teachers. They owned a primary school at the end of the street. Tunde had learnt so much from his parents. His father taught him how to ride a bicycle. While his mother made sure he could wash dishes and dirty clothes.   Tunde had a brown hen and his father made him a cage. Every morning, Tunde fed the hen with corn and water. There was always sugar in the water and the hen loved it. Feeding the hen was good. The boy made sure it was well fed before he leaves for school. The young master was truly generous. But if feeding alone could make one larger than life, the hen could have been the largest land animal. However, there was a problem. The hen could not lay eggs. But Tunde’s father thought the eggs were stolen. He could be right. The world is a small place. A thief could invade the cage once everyone had gone to school.   The hen’s fondness of his master seemed to have earned her freedom, ...

The Power of A Simple Children's Book by Carroll Durodolla

It appears that the website for the Tunde books are the reason many have gone to my YouTube channel, blogs, seen me on FB, LinkedIn and so on. People must be going to the free childrens' books website that I have, showcasing the Tunde books - Tunde, the Little Nigerian Prince and Tunde, the Little Nigerian Prince and the Soldier Ants. On this website they see the Carroll Durodola YouTube Channel's episode "An Evening with Princess Ayo, The African Storyteller, Part 1", which of today has 15,492 views!!! Now people, I know that could be some parents letting their kids watch it several times at night or teachers constantly showing it in the classroom as a reward for their students, but still 15,492 views is substantial!!! I am truly grateful to the Lord and His wisdom in having me write the Tunde books or start writing them, because only two books of the series are out. And the wisdom of God to have them be free to everyone. They didn't start off fr...
